This plan is for a corner model Temp-Cast 2000 masonry heater, with a chimney connection at the rear & the flue turned 45° to the heater. (This plan was used for the stone heater on the back page of the Temp-Cast Planning Guide.) Although the rectangular shape of the pad is the simplest to build, in order to save space the pad could be cut off across the front edge of the indicated minimum hearth.
